A mild mannered radiologist during the day, I am also a cycling enthusiast. Both indoor and outdoor cycling are my passions. I began my Spinning journey about 22 years ago while living in southern New Jersey and instantly became addicted to the Spinning Program. I moved to Wellsboro in 1999 and unfortunately for 18 years Spinning classes were only a distant memory. Words cannot express how excited I was to hear that a Spinning studio was coming to Wellsboro. The opening of Mountain Life Cycling Studio not only rekindled my indoor cycling passion, but, presented to me an opportunity to become an instructor and share this passion with others.

Exercise and fitness have always been a part of my life. I formerly was an ACE certified aerobics instructor and currently stay active in jazz and tap dancing. I have been active in the dance field for 31 years and still enjoy performing.  When Sue brought the Spin program to Wellsboro in 2016 I decided to try it and immediately fell in love with the benefits: Increased leg strength and cardiovascular endurance. I became a certified spin instructor through  Madd Dogg Athletics in 2017 and have recently “retired “ from being a sonographer for over 40 yr. I look forward to sharing the benefits of the spin program with others. CPR and AED certified.

I have had a passion for anything health and fitness related since my teens. Having recently retired, I am excited to finally have the opportunity to share my passion for health and fitness with others through the Spinning program. I managed the employee wellness program at Mansfield University for over 6 years, earned a Keiser Cycling Instructor Certification in 2012 and became a certified Spinning Instructor through Mad Dogg Athletics in 2016 and also hold a CPR and AED certification.

I began my Spinning journey at Mountain Life Cycling Studio in August of 2017. Just 9 months later, I became a certified Spinning Instructor through Mad Dogg Athletics in May of 2018. The Spinning Program, and the people at Mountain Life Cycling Studio have changed my life. After only a few classes, I became addicted to the program and knew it would be a part of my life forever. Spinning helped me lose almost 30 pounds, and I am not looking back! I can't wait to share my new found passion with as many people as possible!

Practicing and teaching yoga is one of the greatest positive additions to my life. The yoga mat becomes a place where you can go to spend some time turning inward and getting to know your body and mind through a more reflective style of physical activity. I like to teach classes that challenge us to stay strong and try new things, while also emphasizing good alignment for maximizing benefit and safety. You could say my teaching style is an alignment-based flow. Sometimes we will move and breathe, and other times we will take the time to refine. I’ve been practicing yoga since 1991 and teaching since 2000. My main mentor was Maty Ezraty, Founder of the renowned original Yoga Works school in Los Angeles. I always aim to emulate her warmth, precision, enthusiasm and dedication in my classes, and in honor of her memory.
